Why is regular cleaning necessary?

Dust, dirt, deposits of moths, mites, fungi and microbiological contamination damage the carpet and can affect your health.
House mite allergy sufferers are relieved by regularly cleaning their carpets. In order to maintain the value of your carpet, even the smallest damage to the edge or fringes should be repaired immediately so that the damage and thus the repair costs do not increase. In this way you ensure the value of your noble knotted work.

In order to retain the value of your oriental rug, a professional rug wash is necessary at intervals of no more than 5 years. Every carpet collects a lot of dust and dirt over time. Sand and sharp-edged particles increasingly destroy the pile with every step. Regular and professional carpet washing is the only way for the carpet to retain its value and regain its original colours.

We remove almost every stain. Whether coffee stain, red wine, tar, blood, orange juice, urine stain or other stains. We treat them individually with plant-based products in several work steps. No guarantee for removal of brownish stains.
 

 Everything starts with a visual entrance inspection. Our qualified specialists determine how your carpet should be washed - a technical test is also part of it. A prerequisite for a good washing result is absolutely thorough dust removal, and that in the dry state. That's why the carpets are beaten. If necessary, wet tapping is also carried out. This process also loosens the stubborn dirt, which can then be washed out more easily.

Depending on the degree of soiling, the carpet is individually soaked for three to five hours in a pool specially adapted to its size, always with fresh water and special shampoo. This gently dissolves the dirt. In other commercial washing operations, the dirt is loosened with pressure washers, this method attacks the basic structure of the carpet and often leads to damage to the carpet. In addition, thanks to the fresh water and a special secret impregnation recipe, moth eggs or urine suds from previous washes cannot get to your carpet. While this method is longer, more laborious and expensive, it is valued as a great quality washing method by carpet experts.

Then the front and back and the fringes are gently washed twice by hand in the direction of the grain with special brushes and organically degradable soaps to remove dirt, sand, mites, moths and the like. Then rinse deep into the pile until no more dirt comes loose, i. H. until the water is clear.

After the carpet has been washed clean of the base fabric, it is rinsed again with diluted vinegar, which refreshes the colors and makes them shine. A foam roller pushes excess water out of the carpet in the direction of the pile. This method is also a more complex process compared to commercial carpet washing companies, but in contrast to a centrifugal machine it is the gentler variant.

The carpet can now be given a regreasing if desired. The original wool lanolin combines immediately with the freshly washed wool fiber and has a dirt-repellent effect.

Then it is dried in the drying room with fresh air supply at approx. 40°C. During the drying period, the carpet pile is combed with soft brushes. As a result, the pile straightens up perfectly and becomes soft and supple.

After drying, a quality control is carried out. It is checked whether the carpet lies flat on the floor, is wavy or warped.
If the carpet warps or becomes wavy during the carpet wash, which is often the case with carpet warps, they are stretched flat on a special frame and thus regain their old shape.
